We’ve used Hooked on Phonics in our homeschool for years, so when they came out with a math app, I wanted to show you. Hooked on Math is a fun way for kids to practice math, and like the reading app, it comes with practice packs.

A little about us
I’m Sarah. I’m married to my best friend, Bud, we have four kids (they were 10, 7, 5 and 3 when we filmed), and we’d been homeschooling for seven years. I share what works for our family so you can feel more confident in your role as mom-teacher.
What Hooked on Math is
Hooked on Math is a newer app from Hooked on Phonics for practicing math. In the video, I walk through it with my kids. If your family already uses Hooked on Phonics, it’ll feel familiar, and it’s nice to have reading and math from the same people.
Practice packs included
Just like the reading app, the math subscription includes practice packs, so your kids get hands-on practice away from the screen too.
The offer when we filmed
When we filmed, you could get your first month of Hooked on Math for $1, practice packs included.
Key takeaways
- Hooked on Math is a math practice app from Hooked on Phonics.
- The subscription includes practice packs.
- It pairs well if you already use Hooked on Phonics for reading.
